Pathak Case Study

Design meets technology

Adept Integrated Systems, 11th December 2010

This beautiful no expense spared home featured a discreet installation throughout. Focusing on integrated audio and video, as well as lighting and security.

Our client selected Adept Integrated Systems after receiving several quotations because our proposal offered the fairest representation of our clients needs which were ;

  • To have a simple method of operating audio and video equipment which was to be housed in an equipment rack under the central staircase.
  • To integrate CCTV and Security with Lighting Control to offer peace of mind that when our client is away the level of security is not compromised. With sensors around the perimeter of the property lighting scenes are triggered and can action alarm triggers subject to the status of the alarm.
  • An integrated lighting control system with careful planning and design to offer one touch operation of preset lighting scenes internally and externally.
  • CCTV cameras were mounted to cover the perimeter of the property and again integrated with the gate access. Using cameras that can be set up to moved when an area is breached this would trigger the camera to respond and move to this area.

Industry leading products featured were Lighting Control from Lutron Electronics, Home Automation and Control from Savant AV, Multi Room Audio and Video from Rotel, Sherbourn and SavantAV, Security, CCTV and Access Control from DSC, Eneo, and Videx and Telephony from Elmeg. All industry renowned brands know for reliability and quality.

The whole house was controlled using Savant an Apple based control a combination of iPad and iTouch controllers using Savant in wall docks for some devices delivering lighting fast access to all services, and allowing the user to open the gates, view the cameras, select stored movies and music as well as control lighting and security.

16 flat panel screens were installed throughout the property including bathroom TV’s to the Master En Suite and Main Bathroom, as well as a special Sauna TV. Special features were an automated TV lift built into the Ottoman at the end of the Master Bedroom. Multiple speakers were installed in the ceiling in every room with in the property with in wall and remote control of all audio and visual systems.

Many changes were specified on this project including variations to the Kitchen/Dining layouts however with great communications Adept Integrated Systems managed to maintain the systems integrity and offer a completed solution that met with the clients needs and demands.
