In this article I hope to be able to communicate the importance of Home Cinema Design and its role as part of your home cinema installation.

An amazing home cinema system has to start on the drawing board otherwise it could be destined for failure before the project even starts.

Currently in our Ascot showroom we are receiving calls every week from clients that have, unfortunately, experienced disappointing results with their home cinema installation.

We have seen issues such as:-

  • Home wiring nightmares
  • Control systems that have been badly programmed
  • Under powered speakers
  • Over powered speakers
  • The wrong projector or screen for a room

Many of these issues should be resolved either at design stage or certainly at assembly and testing of equipment before the client sets hands on the system.

As you can see from the image below this is the level of detail that we go to communicating what the client can expect, if you would care to take a minute or two to watch the time lapse video you can also see the finished result....

Render_View08_PostAt Adept our final stage of works is to visualise the project for the client to enable them to see and sign off on the finished room however that is not the main purpose of the design.

Our design process encompasses ALL of the elements required to guarantee the perfect result when it comes to your home cinema installation.

An Adept Stage 1 Essential Design Covers the following items:-

  1. System Design based on CEA/CEDIA Home Theatre Standards
  2. Plan and Elevation details of the room
  3. 3D model of the room
  4. A seating plan with sight lines - which ensures that every seat can see the screen and is not too close or far away
  5. Full Audio Design including amplifier requirements, speaker power in consideration to the seating area
  6. Full Video Design including projector requirements and recommended screen sizes and options for the room
  7. Full detailed specification for equipment
  8. Our recommendations for a GOOD, BETTER and BEST offering delivering the ultimate performance for your room
  9. Basic visualisation of the room

On top of this package we also offer a Level 2 design which adds a photo realistic visualisation of the room showing all angles. Our Level 3 design includes full construction drawings, and as an option for some clients who are not sure what they would like the room to look like we would also provide the option to create a wider selection of visuals to choose from to aid in ensuring the perfect room.

If you would like any further information on our design service or to further your enquiries please do not hesitate to contact us, details are at the top of this page.

Please also check the time lapse video our client is over the moon with the transformation of this room.....

For entertainment systems that deliver true reproduction of sound for cinema, and music you should certainly contact us to find out more about our offering, as many systems claim to deliver but few do music as well as one would hope....

If you have a project that you are considering we would highly recommend booking us for a home visit so that we can assess the project, followed by a showroom visit and demonstration to run through your options.

At ADEPT we are building our business based on the quality of our work and our ability to deliver. With this in mind we can only accommodate a MAXIMUM OF 30 PROJECTS like this every year. If you think we may be a good fit and you value the quality of the PERFECT ROOM approach to home cinema then please CONTACT US at the earliest opportunity.
